When browsing through Cattleya catalog, this yellow petals and red lips breed strikes instantly. The name also stick in my mind as it's called 'Darling'

The first spring in Great British greeted me with daffodils so I jumped at them as my sixth lesson...It was amazingly easy to make despite my initial wonder of how to make a perfect clone shape corona

Cattleya strikes me as fastinating breed of orchid and I was rather good at making them too.

My next attempt with dwarf orchids using the yellow clay left from lillies. The air socket colour was a bit wrong though as I meant it to be reddish purple but ended up with purplely red instead...duhhhh

After completing the beginner course (of lotus, hydrangea and dwarf orchid) I decided to make lilies using bright yellow oil colour given by a senior colleague. This pot was much praised and ended my first sell. I tried to make another lot of orange lillies but all went wrong and I'm still scared of making them now

Each flower needs 7 little pieces glued together plus a little tint of white oil colour. But hey practice makes perfect so I decided to make 12 flowers altogether

Purple hydrangea...my second assignment. I started with a tiny head of 30 flowers arrange in a vast for Gordon...my dearest as a gift when seeing him last April. It took me a big while to finish this one too. A real test of patient.

This is to give an idea of what I meant by miniature...the round green things on the left were lotus leaves while the pink things on the right were petal...15 for one lotus actually. I ended up making over 200 of them!!
